SHIN SEIKI EVANGELION

I love this series! It's creepy, controversial, and downright blasphemous at times, and I have to say that the creators really outdid themselves. Rei Ayanami remains as one of my all-time favorite characters in spite of the fact that I haven't seen Evangelion in years. My only main gripe with this title would be the mechas (yes, I am a Gundam fan so you probably saw that coming). I mean, ok I can live with the fact that the things have power plugs and they are organic and they EAT things, but the way the EVAs look...ugh. I guess it's not just for me because I know a lot of other mecha fans think that the EVAs' design is too cool for words o.O

The walls for this series are actually two of my favorites from the entire bunch--especially the EVA girls one. Inspiration for them came from a set of EVA posters that were hanging on my bedroom wall at the time, I was just looking at them and thinking that the style would look great on a wallpaper. The gradients and faded images just all came together beautifully (well, I think so anyway ^.^).
