... Bandai Model Kits ...

Before Gundam Seed waltzed into my life, the main things I collected were artbooks and trading cards. I didn't really bother with the "toys" since they couldn't be scanned and therefore were of no use to me. But again, that was before Gundam Seed. After getting hooked on the series, I immediately looked for the kits of my favorite mechas from the series (Duel and Aegis). Not content with buying those, i then got the two different Ginn models (the standard one and Miguel's) plus, the Cgue. Luckily for me, they were having a promo at that time I was buying the kits (free notebook and pen sets from Seika for each purchase of a HG kit)--so even though I had to struggle to get my purchases home (thank goodness for cabs), I was quite the happy camper that day.

Now, I make it a point to check out the Gundam sections of the Toy stores whenever I go out to see if there are any model kits that will catch my eye. I have bought and assembled several other model kits since that first purchase was made. I've found it to be a very relaxing activity, I usually do it after a tough day at work (which is most days it seems). Right now, I still have an unopened SD Strike Gundam Striker Weapon System along with my work-in progress Aegis. Yeah, I know--but it's the 1/100 version and there are so many itty-bitty parts, the Duel wasn't that hard to assemble ~_~
